16 Wholesome Ways Pet Pawrents Love to Pamper their Fur Children

If there is one thing that us pet pawrents are known for it is being over the top. Perhaps it is because we do not have to face the kind of problems that hooman pawrents have, but we cannot seem to stop ourselves from spoiling our cat, canine and other specied kids rotten.

While you might have thought that such a pet specific list would come a pet related subreddit, these examples of pawfect pawrents comes from Reddit's r/Productivitycafe subreddit, a place for people to stop pawcrastinating and get back to work. However, this specific thread seemed to be rather unrelated to working life in most ways. Nonetheless, it has given us all a golden opportunity to learn from experienced pawrents of several different species as opposed to just cats or dogs. Meaning you might just find that one special thing that your dog will love so deeply, but is actually something you picked up from a cat pawrent.

From pawrents who bring back the lunch they order at work so that their pet can enjoy some of the same food they had that day, to pawrents who spoil their pets with material goods, to the pawrents who are willing to prepaw two whole rotisserie chickens and process them for their pet to enjoy. There are all sorts of levels and all sorts of ways to spoil your beloved pet, the choice is up to you, and them to a certain degree.

    greatstonedrake She chooses what I have to eat most meals. I don't feed my dogs people food often but if I'm eating something like meat or egg I will make sure they have two or three bites each and will often cook or season accordingly so I don't have to worry about hurting them or upsetting their tummies. I think of a few things I'm going to have for dinner and I ask her which she prefers. Sometimes I have to repeat the choices a few times but she is opinionated and will often start barking for

    Cohens4thClient Any time my Bonnie wants to go for a walk, or we get the leash and she knows she's going out, she comes to me, shoves her but way up in the air and hides the loop on her collar She will not allow me to attach the leash until I give her but scratching.     Real_County2344 We celebrate some holidays. Easter: I would hide treats inside the plastic eggs and hide them around the house while dogs are outside then I let them in and say "go find them". They run around looking for eggs, bite down once on the egg, it pops open and they get the treat. They love easter. Christmas: I will take small boxes and wrap them with toys and treats inside for them Christmas morning. They go nuts and love it.

  • Wow, this is some high level pawrenting right here. Holidays are quite the production and effort filled endeavor when you have hooman children who spend time learning about these holidays and expecting them to come from their time in school. So for a pupper pawrent to pull out all the stops like this when their doggos do not get half as much help understanding hooman society, and whose friends will very unlikely be aware of the existence of such things, this is one heck of a happening. Though we do feel as though they might have missed a trick here by not just hiding actual hard boiled eggs…

    thetealappeal Every Friday I pay a guy $50 to pick up my dog and drive him to a huge dog park in the suburbs with trails and a creek to run around in nature for a few hours with some other dogs.

    Fair-Wishbone-11... Every night when I come home from work my cat will follow me into the bathroom and sit on the sink. I have to brush him now for at least 10 minutes or he will cry. But I figure since he's alone by himself while I work, that he needs something to look forward too at night. He's so spoiled.

  • Knowing cats, that is not just something to look forward to, that is one hundred purrcent a test. If the pawrent were to fail such a test then they would inevitably met with a night of zoomies and the songs of this cat’s people. A sleepless night where you cannot quite be sure whether your cat is still a cat or has been pawssessed by some sort of evil spirit that is now commanding its body and wreaking havoc around your home. So in the grand scheme of things what is a ten minute investment in your cat child’s happiness against a sleepless night of sheer terror.

    myboyfriendsbac... I have to save a couple of bites from my lunch at work so she can get her 'lunch' when I come home. I come in from work, swing my lunch bag around a bit and say 'who's ready for lunch!' She does a little circle dance and then gets down to lunch business.

    tilesmeller A real birthday party with guests and gifts! Our friends find it funny. He has health issues and has survived some horrible situations where docs told us not to hope much. But he made it and is now 8 years old. Why shouldn't he get one day just for him.

    Tricky-Tart-1288 I roast 2 whole chickens pull all the meat off of the bones, chop it up nice and small by hand, stir in all of the pan liquid/fat and freeze it in containers- that feeds my 6 lb cat for 3 weeks. (I add vitamin paste, salmon oil and probiotics when I dish it up)
